After years of art study and designing, Brad he realized that while he enjoys the visual arts, his passion is writing. His thoughts turned to becoming an author. He has two published novels as part of his Mitch O’Reilly Mystery series, featuring a gay P.I. in Los Angeles.

In 1999, Brad launched "Queer Writers of Crime," and interviewed LGBTQ+ authors of mystery, thriller & suspense novels. BuzzFeed named it as one of the top twenty queer podcasts in 2022. He also hosted "Queer We Are", which featured positive discussions with LGBTQ guests and allies. Episodes from both podcasts are available on your favorite app.

Brad lives in the California High Desert with his husband and best friend Maurice.
